President Donald Trump is welcoming President Nasry Asfura of Honduras to his Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida, today.

President Trump endorsed President Asfura in the Honduran election last year. President Asfura was inaugurated last month.

The two presidents will discuss matters of mutual concern, including drug trafficking, trade and economics, immigration, and the security of the Western Hemisphere.

In December, Secretary of State Marco Rubio commended then-President-Elect Asfura for his advocacy of U.S. strategic objectives, including advancing bilateral and regional security cooperation and strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to seek God’s direction as he discusses regional security and economy with President Asfura.
  • For the two presidents as they consider collaboration on mutual concerns.
  • For wisdom for Secretary Rubio as he heads the State Department and interacts with foreign leaders.
